Step 8

Mount the CKTES/PETK on a at surface, with expansion loop of 150 mm in the cables. Heating Cable/Cold Leads

and joint secured in place using bre xing tape. Application of tape shall allow a small degree of movement at the

joint and cables to cater for potential expansion and contraction of the pipeline. Do not over-tighten.

Step 9

Do not move the assembled CKTES/PETK for minimum 24 hours for complete curing.
